Bob Hellman will share a slide show and his stories from the NHA "Exploration" to 4 Azorean Islands.
Bob will speak briefly of the strong connection between the Azores and the American sail powered Whale Fishery of the 19th and early 20th centuries. Many of his group were very fortunate to take a successful Whale Watch tour from the island of Faial on June 8 when we saw 6 sperm whales swimming near the town of Lages du Pico off the island of Pico.
